Summer 2014

Our first summer at the "compound."  (no other names have been settled upon yet, but we are taking entries)  We have been having our fair share of smores!

Grant and Evy made this all by themselves.  

Nothing says summer like a good piece of watermelon and hot dogs cooked by the fire.

Yay for Auntie for braving the water that won't seem to warm up this year (or maybe it's just our aging bodies).

First Communion

Ben managed to get this picture over the heads of all the other parents.  This is just part of Grant's class--the other kids had different mass times.

 Good thing Grammy Mavis got Grant a suit coat for his birthday!

 I tried to make Grammy Mavis' angel food cake frosting but my cream of tartar was 5 years old and therefore did not work...but I tried.

 Hugh got left home with the babysitter (sitting in church seems to bring out the worst in him) so here's a cute photo of him.
