Happy 4th Birthday Evy!

Dad made an awesome Pink Power Rangers cake, as requested, for the birthday girl!

Evy loves everything about school (except sometimes Spanish because it's hard) and here she is excited to go to preschool camp.

Megan and Reuben

Megan and Reuben came to visit us this weekend!  We spent two days at the lake and then moved on to the cities when it got rainy.  Here we are having fun in the sun.  Reuben is a real sweetheart and all the Bowmans warmed to him immediately.

Hugh loved his birthday cake, so much so that he needed a bath immediately afterwards.  

Preschool Family Fun Night

The preschoolers sang some songs for us (in their p.j.'s) the other night.  Here's a shot of Grant wishing Evy good luck.

Heard last weekend:  "Spring is finally here!  No more snow!"  Heard this week: "snow is stupid.  I hate the snow."  -Evy

 My husband left me to go golfing (in 35 degree weather?) for the weekend.  Luckily Auntie Teens is willing to come over and play princess!

"Spring" Happenings

Today (May 3rd) we had snow.  Rather than go on about our non-existent Spring, I will focus on other things such as my visit to Evy's preschool.  Lots of fun to see her in action!  

We did get a couple of warm days and you better believe we were out there soaking up the sun.

 Evy made this bird feeder at preschool, and our neighbor let us hang it on her tree (since we don't have one).

Hugh is learning to climb steps.  Might as well start off with some nice concrete ones.

The kids went on vacation and brought us along as their assistants!  

Evy was unsure of a vacation that revolves around waterslides (as were we).  She kept saying "I don't love waterslides" before we left.  That's her special way of saying "I hate that crap."  Luckily, she found one kiddie slide she liked and went down it a million times.   

Hugh LOVED being in the water.

 It's nice that they provide chairs for the parents in case they get tired of splashing around.

And here it is...our FIRST family photo since Hugh was born!

 Last year, in San Diego, Evy was scared of the Easter bunny.  This year she went back multiple times for hugs!
