Baby Hugh!

Thanks to everyone who has helped us out during this transition; especially my Mom!

That's an HB on the end, for Hugh Bowman.  

Grant is in love with his new brother and has many things to teach him (including thumb sucking)

What we do while we wait for baby to arrive

Tonight we went to the Kinder Potluck where Grant performed in a very lively Mexican hat dance.  He did a great job!  

The two classes also performed some adorable songs.

Evy had her last day of "Teacher Tom's" (ECFE).  She really likes Teacher Tom and even made him a card.

If you come over to our house, Evy will invite you to swim in our "pool." 

Mavis got Evy this hilarious waitress costume!  Evy took my order one day, but told me that I couldn't have any of the things I requested.

Evy is our official gardener.

Now that we have some privacy, we enjoy sitting out in the sunroom.

What we saw as we walked to the pool. Grant is wearing an "angry birds" shirt, a video game that he and Ben have bonded over in the last couple months. I guess it's better than his headless lego man shirt...

Still can't figure out why I can't write comments under my pictures!

Picture 2: We tried to eat breakfast and lunch in our room (Ben even brought the mickey mouse waffle iron). Evy and Grant enjoyed the variety of TV chanels to choose from.

Picture 3: Believe it or not, this picture was taken at the start of day. I had much higher hopes for a picture in front of the castle than this...

Picture 4: Mavis said we couldn't miss the tea cups and she was right!

Picture 5: When I realized that ALL the rides had a 45 minute wait I was ready to pack up and go despite the incredible amount of money we paid to get in the door. I think the kids were better at waiting in those lines than I was.

Picture 6: Ben held Evy on his shoulders for a 1/2 hour in line to meet Minnie Mouse. Evy was hesitant, but in the end put on a brave face (thankgoodness). I guess Minnie appears to be more friendly than the easter bunny.

Picture 7: Ben told me to jump in on the picture with Pluto and to make sure to show my belly profile. After our picture, Pluto's agent told everyone else who had been waiting that he had to move on. The lady behind us said "I hate that @&$*. Did I mention it is good people watching at Disneyland?

Here's some pictures from our trip with more to come. The kids loved the pool and Grant especially loved the waterslides. As always, it was a great treat to be by the ocean. The water was freezing, but we had a good time playing in the sand.

Easter Fun

Today after ECFE, Evy dyed some easter eggs and put up window clings. I'll have to get up a picture of the finished product. When she saw them she said, "oh, gorgeous!"

On Wednesday we will be having a fence put in! Which means that the lovely view of the neighbors yard will be no longer. And my summer with three kids will be super easy.

On Saturday we went to the "Spring Party" at the community center. Evy and I split from Ben and Grant, so that's why there's more photos of Evy. They had lots of fun doing an egg hunt, going in a bouncy house, and doing a fish pond. We never did get to see the easter bunny though, so we're hoping to run in to him in San Diego.

Is it Really March?

Here's Evy in her everday get-up (princess dress, backpack, and purse--no matter where we are going). I asked her to stand in front of our neighbor's tree to show the blossoms that are out in MARCH!

I'm having trouble getting my text to go where I want it...hence the randomness. The second picture was taken today when we had a new friend and her 2 kids over to play. Evy got to hold baby Tate 3 times! And then we have some shots to show that the leather jackets have reappeared. Grant said he looks like a "hot shot" in his.
